Facade Master 1250 Single Column Facade Working Platform
Facade Master (working platform on a column) is an ideal machine that provides a lift area to work on building facades. It can carry up to 5 workers and loads up to 3670 kg to a facade up to 30 meters in length as shown in guide tables 7 and 8.
As a working principle, the system consists of scaffold systems moving with electric motors on steel masts mounted on the facade to be worked. These systems are modular systems that can open up to 10.5 meters in a single mast and 30 meters in a double mast. Moreover, with standard materials on the system, it can reach heights up to 150 meters.
The foundation of the elevator system is based on the rotation of small gears on a gear rack. This rotation is produced by two identical and commonly shared electronic motor groups. Each motor group integrates a motor, an electronic brake, a gear reducer group, and an emergency central brake system. These motor groups (hereinafter referred to as motor) are mounted on a metallic structure called the chassis. This structure supports the column, holds all moving parts of the machine, and transfers all the power to the column. It also has a track adjustment to prevent it from deviating from the guide rail and includes high security features such as external access door to the platform.
Except for the chassis, other mechanical elements can be connected to various sections of the platform up to the maximum foresight in the guide through screws. Each section of the platform is composed of a metallic window frame, perforated plate floor, extension system, and handrails.
All these sets stand vertically thanks to the movement of small gears on the gear rack and are anchored to a column supporting this facade, welded. The mentioned column arranges a series of bolted sections to heights up to 150 meters. In addition to supporting the platform, it also takes on the role of guidance. Once reinforced by the platform giving force to the ground, it ensures stabilization until the great collapse moment when the set is distributed. Moreover, the machine also includes an electronic system that supports many movements such as feeding the set and safety system.
It is referred to as a stationary chassis according to EN 1495:1998 norm and includes a body in pipe form, a central fixing plane, stabilizers, as well as telescopic and rotating pipes that can be removed from the body when not needed.
The central body includes gears to fix the first section. It also includes five axles: one at each corner of the square and one in the middle, positioned to be the place to support the gear rack and the larger part of the load. As recently discussed, it also includes four stabilizers that can be placed in many places on the base. These stabilizers are assigned to support the machine during the collapse stage to be delivered. (see the figure on the next page)
