Compared to other glass cutting processes (CNC, water jet), this method is preferred to reduce stress on small glass parts during cutting, and to avoid applications that put loads on the glass. In addition, unlike cutting methods used in water jet glass cutting applications, there is a significant cost advantage in cutting using only air consumption during cutting.
