1000x1000 mm Filter Press is designed for solid-liquid separation, sludge dewatering and filter cake formation in industrial production and process applications requiring high capacity. During filtration, the liquid phase passes through the filter cloths and leaves the system, while solid particles are retained between the filter plates and form a filter cake. The number of plates and machine capacity can be determined according to the characteristics of the product to be filtered and the process requirements of the plant. The machine frame is manufactured as standard from ST37 steel, while the feed section is made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The filtration section is equipped with 1000x1000 mm PP (Polypropylene) filter press plates. Depending on process requirements, Chamber Filter Press Plates or a Full-Empty Filter Press Plate System can be used. The filter plates are compressed by a hydraulic system. The number of plates can be determined according to the processing volume, product characteristics and required capacity. Depending on process requirements, the filter press can be manufactured as a manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic system. The product to be filtered is fed into the filtration section of the filter press by a pump. The filter cloths allow the liquid phase to pass through while retaining solid particles between the filter plates. As filtration continues, solid particles accumulate between the plates and form a filter cake. When the filtration cycle is completed, the plates are opened and the resulting filter cakes are discharged from the machine.
