MIXING ARMS
The mixer tank is coated with Ni-Hard mixer blades. Low-profile mixing arms are made of Cast Iron to prevent material accumulation.
A large number of blades, their positions and directions guarantee the correct combination between rolling and material circulation during the mixing process.
GEARBOX
The gearboxes of the FABO Twinshaft mixing group are of planetary type, and the initial drive is realized with a pulley transmission equipped with a fixed-speed universal joint to keep the shafts synchronized.
The low initial speed of the gearboxes ensures healthier operation of the lubrication oil. The connection between the gearbox and the tank is made with a special connection sleeve developed over the years to make any possible maintenance of the shaft supports easier and faster.
This sleeve (joining device) can be easily disassembled to provide access to the shaft support, minimizing downtime for the facility in case of maintenance.
AUTOMATIC LUBRICATION
The grease required for the seal to keep the opposing disks lubricated is supplied by a pump to a stepwise distributor that distributes it equally to each seal. The high-efficiency filter eliminates possible dirt and impurities with the refilling of the grease tank and this circulation.
HYDRAULIC UNIT
The closing of the lid is monitored by a pressure sensor located within the hydraulic circuit. In case of failure or power outage, a manual pump can be operated for emergency discharge and closure.
