EPS/XPS Styrofoam CNC Hot Wire Cutting Machine
Our CNC multi-wire foam cutting machines, equipped with single wire to multiple cutting wires, are designed for computer-controlled cutting of 2D contours of styrofoam, styropor (EPS, XPS), and other foams.
Our CNC Hot Wire Cutting series machines are manufactured in Turkey. The machine's main frame is welded, painted steel profiles and sheet metals. Equipped with high technology automation systems, it is an extremely stable machine. Each axis of the machine has independent motors and drivers, with a capacity up to 30 wires with 1 wire. The dual-axis design of all axes ensures the machines work more robustly and stably, the threaded rod drive system and linear rails make the motion of moving parts fast and smooth, maintaining precision across the entire working area. The tension of the cutting wire is controlled by springs on both sides.
VDM CNC Machine's CNC Hot Wire Cutting machines series are industrial machines that enable high-volume production of materials such as styrofoam, building insulation, decorative profiles, EPS, XPS, protective foams, packaging, furniture, and other structural components thanks to multi-wire cutting.
In multi-wire foam cutters, all wires are cut along their entire lengths, and the temperature of the wires is kept constant whether they are on the sides or in the center. Even if the foam is shorter than the hot wire, the cutting result remains the same regardless of its placement.
Thanks to the software we have prepared, the machine is very easy to use and user-friendly. We also provide training to ensure that you learn all the settings and features of the machine. These trainings provide practical information on machine operation, software usage, and cutting adjustments.
The cutting wire of our CNC E-series machine works at a constant temperature while processing styrofoam foams with a digital temperature control unit. The machine has automatic start-stop, heating on and off features. It has a digital current control containing a microprocessor that controls the temperature of the wires. Therefore, the cuts are made clean and accurate.
Optionally, the machines can be provided with conveyor belts and rollers for movement. This facilitates material transport after cutting, increases efficiency, and reduces downtime for cleaning the machine.
These machines are suitable for cutting Styrofoam and styropor (EPS, XPS) blocks.
