During the roasting of coffee, the afterburner is a filtration system that cleans the carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide waste gases and heavy odors that occur by burning. In our products, 310 stainless steel and high-quality Italian burners are preferred in the combustion chamber. Additionally, to isolate high temperatures, energy savings are achieved with ceramic wool, preventing burning effects on external surfaces.
Afterburner: In our manufacturing, the combustion chamber is made of 310 stainless steel, which is resistant to 1750 degrees, and the air directing inside the system reduces the chimney's exhaust, burning the smoke released from the coffee by making it contact with the flame of the premix pre-combustion burner. We have a safety measure that prevents energy loss with 12 cm heat insulation. During the installation of the afterburner, the first 1 meter of the chimney must be vertical, and afterwards, it should be transferred outside with a minimum air mast. It is important to prefer licensed installations belonging to the regional administration during the installation, and especially to share the installation method. Using a thermostat-controlled and premix pre-combustion system eliminates the risk, but in installations where the distance between the ceiling and the system is less than 1 meter, all responsibility lies with the user.

 

In our system that cleans the smoke, odor, and harmful gases released from coffee, a premix pre-combustion burner is used. Safety is ensured with thermostat control in the technology used. During installation, the first 1 meter of the pipe coming out of the afterburner should be vertical and made of 3 mm 316 stainless steel, and then operated with a minimum elbow to increase combustion efficiency. Please consult our company before installation. In heights less than 1 meter from the ceiling, the responsibility lies with the installing company.
