ErichHahn HT active heating tanks are above-ground vertical cylindrical steel tanks with capacities ranging from 700 to 950 m3 and different heights and diameters. The tanks are equipped with all the necessary process piping. Product range includes HT-400, HT-700, HT-950. ErichHahn HT Advantages Movable tanks, designed to actively heat and store heavy oil while maintaining its quality by providing transportation. Tanks are manufactured and assembled using both roll-up and sheet-by-sheet assembly methods. Insulation To reduce heat loss and maintain the temperature regime, a layer of insulation made of galvanized steel with a protective casing is provided. Loading System Allows top loading of oil products. The inlet is positioned above the maximum level. The entire system is installed inside the tank. The chute prevents oil product splashing during loading. An electric actuated gate valve regulates the feed; it is remotely controlled by a signal from the control cabin. Drainage Device The drainage device is designed to drain the tanks and discharge the remaining product at the bottom. It consists of a pipe line and closing valves. Tanks are emptied through an electric actuated gate valve that is remotely controlled by a signal from the control cabin. A closing valve is provided for manual control. Side Agitator The side agitator is designed to homogenize the heavy oil stored in the tanks. The device consists of a three-blade mixer shaft operated by a gear motor. The mixer is mounted vertically at a 90° angle to the tank. The shaft outlet seal is provided by a mechanical seal. Heating System The product is heated to the required temperature with oil heating sections located at the bottom of the tank. Each heating section consists of a support frame and pipe structure. The number of sections depends on the tank diameter. Oil Distributor The oil distributor is designed to evenly distribute the heat transfer fluid to the tank heaters. It consists of the following components: Steam Relief Device The steam relief device consists of a vent pipe and a steam shut-off valve. Emergency Overflow Protection In case of automation failure, when the maximum emergency level in the tank is exceeded, the product is discharged to the emergency tank via a special pipe. Control Cabin The tank is equipped with a local control cabin. The cabin, integrated into the control system either on-site or remotely, provides the ability to monitor and control the instrumentation.
