Brosa 0656 Electronic Weighing System

The BROSA 0656 Electronic System, used as a weighing system in portals, ports, container, tower cranes, and indoor cranes, typically records 4-8 load signals. These signals can be used to record not only the corner loads of a product but also the total weight, for example, to comply with SOLAS directives in container handling. BROSA components are certified according to OIML (R60/R76). For example, 4 modes can be selected to obtain various load records or separator positions, thus achieving ideal measurement results. The display of the weighing result and other configurable values can be easily read on a 4.3” or 7” diagonal color screen. Additionally, direct communication of the 0656 Electronic System with a higher-level crane PLC is possible via CANopen (Safety), PROFIBUS (PROFIsafe), or PROFINET (PROFIsafe). Data loggers and customer-specific interfaces can also be integrated upon request. The 0656 Electronic System comes with loaded FlexLim (Safe) software, which allows for easy parameterization of defined applications by the commissioning engineer via PC. Commissioning at BROSA can be ordered as an additional service. The 0656 Electronic System is offered in a robust housing certified to IP67/69k and can be mounted in control cabinets as well as open locations. Connection is possible for individual customers via a terminal strip or modules or interfaces.

BSCT

BROSA System Configuration Tool (BSCT) allows for the individual configuration of applications on the computer. Various modules can be connected to implement overload protection according to customer requirements. Among others, CAN, constants, curves, mathematical and logical processors, multipliers, comparators, and digital inputs and outputs are available. BSCT allows for the creation of application files that can later be transferred to the system via a serial interface (RS 232). BSCT software comes with a hardware lock.
