Facade Master 1250 Single-Column Facade Working Platform
Facede Master (working platform on column) is an ideal machine that provides a lift area for working on building facades. It can carry up to 5 workers and loads up to 3670 kg to a facade of 30 meters in length according to Tables 7 and 8 in the guide.
As a working principle, it is a scaffold system that moves with electric motors on steel masts mounted with anchoring arms to the facade where work will be done. These systems are modular systems that can open up to 10.5 meters in a single mast and up to 30 meters in a double mast. Additionally, the system can reach heights up to 150 meters with standard equipment on the system.
The foundation of the elevator system is based on the rotation of small gears on the gear rack mandrel. This rotation is produced with two identical and commonly shared electronic motor groups. Each motor group combines a motor, an electronic brake, a gear reducer group, and an emergency central brake system. These motor groups (hereinafter referred to as motors) are attached to a metallic structure called chassis. This structure supports the column, holds all moving parts of the machine, and transfers all the force to the column. It also has a rail adjustment to prevent it from coming off the track and includes a high-security detector such as external access door to the platform.
Aside from the chassis, other mechanical elements can be connected to various parcels of the platform up to the maximum foresight in the guide through screws. Each parcel of the platform is composed of a metallic window cage, perforated plate floor, extension system, and guardrails.
All these sets stand vertically due to the movement on small gears' gear mandrel and are fixed, welded to a column supporting the facade, organizing a series of bolted parcels up to a height of 150 meters. In addition to supporting the platform, the column also assumes the guiding role. It provides stabilization until the time of the major collapse where the set is distributed after reinforcing with the platform giving force to the ground. Additionally, the machine has an electronic system that supports many movements such as supplying the set and safety system.
It is referred to as a fixed chassis in accordance with the EN 1495:1998 standard and includes body tubes in a flat shape as a center and fixatives, as well as telescopic and rotating pipes that can be removed from the body when not needed.
The central body also includes gears to secure the first part of the chassis. It also includes five axles: one at each corner of the square and one in the center, positioned to support the gear mandrel, the largest part of the load to be supported. As described earlier, it includes four fixatives and can be placed in many places on the base. These fixatives are assigned to support the machine during the collapse phase for delivery.
