MBS H-IRB-500 Horizontal Balancing Machine

The H-IRB-500 is an industrial 500 kg capacity horizontal balancing machine designed for the static and dynamic balancing requirements of large rotors. With a rotor weight capacity ranging from 20 kg to 500 kg and a standard bed length of 2500 mm, it provides high-precision balancing across a wide spectrum of parts, including large fan and turbine impellers, compressor and crusher rotors, welded fan impellers, geared shafts, propellers, and industrial drums.

Supporting maximum rotor diameters up to Ø 1400 mm and a shaft diameter range of 15–240 mm, the H-IRB-500 is equipped with a 5.5 kW motor. The standard belt drive is ideal for medium and large rotors, while an optional shaft drive can be added depending on application needs. It performs simultaneous measurements in single or dual planes using the MBS Balans iBalancer software.

• Ergonomic Operator Console: Supplied with Type B console as standard; optional Type A enclosed cabinet is available (Windows-based AIO PC).

• On-Machine Correction (Optional): Enables correction directly on the machine without removing the part, via optional side or top drilling unit add-ons.

• Safety and Standards: CE-compliant structure; safety enclosure with interlocked door available as an option. Installation, operator training, and calibration services are included.
