Thanks to the machine's staggered cutting system, the gaps between cups have been reduced, allowing the same amount of cup production with less pitch and foil width. By taking existing machines in the industry as a reference, it saves 3.125% on the lower foil and 5.55% on the upper foil. In other companies, when a new hob is installed or if there is a problem with the foil, the foil must be pulled along the machine again to regain shape. This results in waste of foil equal to the length of the machine and causes time loss in this process. Thanks to the chain system used in our machine, the foil can be shaped immediately by being fed into the chain, allowing production to continue. This provides savings in time and foil. In pull machines, the advancement of the foil is achieved by holding the foil at one point in the pull station and pulling it along the entire machine. This creates a high sensitivity to factors such as the cooling of the foil, variations in rigidity, and elongation or shortening. For these reasons, slipping occurs in pitches. Continuous readjustment of stations is required.
Since the advancement of the foil in our machine is dependent on the speed of the chain, it is not affected by the physical changes of the foil.
Since the foil is held by the chain at the edges, sagging of the foil towards the center has been minimized. This allows for healthier positioning. Since this cannot be achieved in pull machines, differences can be observed between the middle cup and the edge cups.
In pull machines, the advancement of the foil is dependent on the mechanism. Due to the structure of the mechanism, the potential for mechanical failure is high.
