Star Diaphragm Paint Pump

WORKING PRINCIPLE:

Diaphragm paint pumps operate on a principle similar to that of suction and discharge pumps. Pneumatic diaphragm paint pumps are driven not by an electric motor but by compressed air. Depending on the flow capacity of the pump and the pressure value required by the operating conditions, it operates by connecting to the air line of a compressor with suitable capacity.

Since pneumatic diaphragm paint pumps do not operate with electricity, they have an explosion-proof (ex-proof) feature. For this reason, they are often preferred in areas where solvent, thinner, and many other flammable and explosive paints are applied to surfaces.
