6-120 mm Plate Welding Groove Opening Machine

The plate welding groove opening machine EDGE 80 REVERSE is a version designed to open the welding groove on the underside of the plate of the Edge 80. It is a powerful and durable heavy-duty machine recommended for tough applications.

EDGE 80 REVERSE can work on plates with a thickness of 6 to 120 mm, can reach a maximum of 80 mm in diagonal, and is equipped with a head type that allows for opening angles between 10° and 70°, enabling very easy and quick adjustment of the opening angle. This machine can also perform J Bevel (R6 and R8) between 0° and 30°.

The EDGE 80 REVERSE plate welding groove opening machine is equipped with a car that has a plate detection sensor as well as a new chip removal system. Additionally, the machine has a damping system that allows overcoming possible defects on the plate and the ground.

EDGE 80 REVERSE can open all types of materials with a smooth surface quality. Once the machine is placed and secured on the plate, it progresses along the edge to the farthest end without operator intervention.

CAPACITY: Plates with a thickness between 6 and 120 mm (1/4” – 4 ¾”)
