800x800 mm Liquid Fertilizer Filter Press

800x800 mm Liquid Fertilizer Filter Press is designed for separating solid particles from the liquid phase and filtering the product in liquid fertilizer production processes.

During filtration, solid particles contained in the liquid are retained between the filter plates, while the filtered liquid passes through the filter cloths and leaves the system. Depending on the process and product characteristics, this provides a cleaner and more controlled filtration result.

800x800 mm Liquid Fertilizer Filter Press Construction

The machine frame is manufactured as standard from ST37 steel, while the feed section is made of AISI 304 stainless steel.

The filtration section is equipped with 800x800 mm PP Chamber filter press plates.

The filter plates are compressed by a hydraulic system. The number of plates and overall machine capacity can be determined according to the production volume and the characteristics of the liquid fertilizer to be filtered.

How Does Liquid Fertilizer Filtration Work?

The liquid fertilizer to be filtered is fed into the filtration section of the filter press by a pump. The filter cloths allow the liquid phase to pass through while retaining solid particles between the plates.

As filtration continues, solids accumulate between the plates and form a filter cake. When the filtration cycle is completed, the hydraulic piston is retracted, the plates are opened and the resulting filter cake is discharged from the machine.

The filtered liquid passing through the filter cloths can then be directed to a suitable point according to the existing production and storage system of the plant.

System and Capacity Selection

In liquid fertilizer filtration, machine capacity should not be determined only according to plate size. The solids content, particle structure, daily production volume, filtration time and operating conditions should be evaluated together.

800x800 mm filter presses can be configured with different numbers of plates according to process requirements. Suitable machine capacity can be determined by evaluating the product and production information.

Filter Cloth and Sample Testing

Since the characteristics of liquid fertilizers and the particles they contain may vary from one product to another, selecting the correct filter cloth plays an important role in filtration performance.

Whenever possible, a filtration test is carried out using a product sample supplied by the customer. During the test, the filtration behaviour, structure of the resulting filter cake and filtrate quality are evaluated.

Based on the test results, suitable filter cloth and filter press specifications can be determined.
