Basic Electromagnetic Drum Separator

Electromagnetic drum separators are preferred in scrap recycling projects. High-capacity, long distance and deep penetrating powerful magnetic field provides high efficiency in separation of extra large and sharp iron and iron-containing particles. If there are large metal parts containing iron (> 100 mm) in the application, the diameter of the drum magnet is important. Sufficient surface area and distance between scrapers are important for providing the best separation.
