Ekermak Machinery About The works started as a rural machinery repair workshop named TEKBAŞ by 4 brothers with the surname TEKBAŞ in the 1960s, and then continued with the production of additional axles for trucks. In the 1970s, when the repair of grain seeding machines imported to our country began to be made heavily, the production of some parts of these machines also came to the agenda. The knowledge gained during the part production process has led the brothers to direct towards machine production. Finally, the first seeding machine was launched with the TEKBAŞ brand. In those years, as the number of manufacturers was small alongside a large number of machines, business growth accelerated rapidly, and the high demand prompted the partners to incorporate the company. Finally, in 1975, EKER-MAK Agricultural Tools Manufacturing and Trading Co. Ltd. was established as the current company. Initially, the establishment which was producing in a rented workshop in the city center of POLATLI, moved to its current building in 1980. The factory, which until 1986 produced only Combine Grain Seeding Machine, thereafter decided to increase the variety of production and in 1986, it has produced Agricultural Trailers, Spiral Conveyors in 1990, and Disc Fertilizer Spreaders in 1992 and Trilobal Cultivators in 1993 in series. With GAP's entry into service, the need for machines for irrigated agriculture emerged, and the company turned to produce the required machines and realized the production of Combined Cotton Seeding Machine in 1996. Our company, which conducts joint R&D studies with the Ministry of Agriculture, by developing multi-purpose seed cells that can also sow large-grained seeds such as chickpea, corn, soybeans, beans, etc. with the Combine Grain Seeding Machines, was presented to our farmers in 1998. The factory, which was built on an open area of 15,000 m² in 1980 as 1,500 m² closed area, reached 4,600 m² closed area in 1998 with the increase in production capacity and variety. This expansion in the closed area also allowed increasing the number of workbenches, and especially in recent years, by adapting to the evolving technology, automated CNC lathe, CNC vertical processing center, CNC plasma, and computer equipped machine tools, it became one of the first companies using technology in agricultural machinery manufacturing industry. Especially starting in 1997, the rapid increase in the importation of tractors with double traction high power and the increasing demand for these tractors also brought along the problem of compatible equipment for these tractors. Thus, in 1998, partnerships were established with foreign companies (Amazonen-Werke, Lemken, etc.) in order to initially import and then to manufacture this equipment, and these equipment were presented to our farmers with a service guarantee. EKER-MAK, which aims to produce the agricultural machinery needed by Turkey and other countries in the highest quality way with the most suitable conditions for the market, is one of the companies allocating the most to research and development in Turkish agriculture today. Our company with a production capacity of 2000 units/year has become a sought-after brand by our farmers in terms of quality manufacturing, and it is one of Turkey's largest agricultural mechanization companies in its field.
