Yıldız Cooling was established in 1978 in İzmir Karabağlar. We operate on the return of all brand and model Cooling compressors to factory values in case of malfunctions. At the same time, we also produce industrial cooling, ice plants, chiller devices, and ice machines. We also provide service on ammonia cooling systems. In the branding process, in 2016, we separated ice sales, industrial ice machines, ammonia chillers, and ice factory contracts with Foça Ice brand. 20 years ago, perhaps we made the country's first leaf ice machine entirely at our workshop with our own means. However, not entering mass production due to energy consumption not meeting our desired values was our biggest commercial mistake, today machines that consume much more energy than the one we produce are imported from China. But we are happy that we did not sell products that we do not believe to be efficient. We are constantly researching how we can do better. Constant innovation and preserving the interests of our country are also our most important duties. While producing ice factories, we also entered the ice manufacturing and sales sector by acquiring Foça Ice, the first licensed ice production factory in the Aegean region and the 5th in Turkey in 2009. Foça ice was established by our company in 2005 with a production capacity of 9 tons of block ice and 2 tons of crystal table ice and started its activities. With the increase in demand in the sector, in 2007, we increased its capacity to daily 18 tons of block ice and 5 tons of crystal table ice. Ice is used in many industries, especially in fishery. The most important issue in ice production is to comply with hygiene conditions. As Foça Ice, we first received the Food Production Permit certificate from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Our ice is produced from processed mineral balanced reverse osmosis water. Water analysis reports are obtained at regular intervals from the Izmir Hıfzı Sıhha Institute and these results are shared with our customers.
