In industry, many types of energy are needed. One of these energy needs is steam energy. Steam energy is obtained by producing pressurized steam at high temperatures by heating water with the high heat in combustion chambers resulting from the combustion of solid liquid and gas fuels. The machines that produce these steam are called steam boilers. There are several types of steam boilers based on combustion methods and construction methods. 3-pass Scotch type steam boilers are the most commonly used models in our country and worldwide. The other models are fire tube and two-pass steam boiler models. Their capacities are evaluated based on the area covered by the combustion chambers in square meters. They are produced in capacities ranging from 5 m2 to 1000m2.
