MBS H-IHB-20 Horizontal Balancing Machine

The MBS H-IHB-20 is a 20-ton capacity heavy-duty horizontal balancing machine specifically developed for the static and dynamic balancing requirements of the largest and heaviest components in heavy industry. With a rotor weight capacity ranging from 180 kg to 20,000 kg (20 tons) and a $2 \times 2000$ mm modular bed length, it provides high-precision balancing for a wide spectrum of parts, including steam turbine rotors, multi-stage turbines, generator rotors, double-inlet large fans, heavy industrial drums, and shafts.

Supporting maximum rotor diameters up to Ø 3000 mm and a shaft diameter range of 50–400 mm, the H-IHB-20 features a powerful 37 kW motor system with a frequency inverter. In line with its heavy-duty structure, shaft drive comes standard. It performs simultaneous measurements in single or dual planes using the MBS Balans iBalancer software.

• Advanced iBalancer Software: Automatic tolerance calculation per ISO 21940-11 standard based on input rotor dimensions; Turkish and optional multi-language module support.

• High-Precision Measurement: Equipped with 2 piezoelectric vibration sensors and a reflective optical RPM/angle sensor.

• Operator Computer: All-in-One (AIO) PC with Windows operating system.

• On-Machine Correction: Correction location and mass are displayed on screen; correction can be performed directly while the rotor remains on the machine.

• Safety and Standards: CE-compliant structure; safety enclosure with interlocked door available as an option.
