250x250 mm Wastewater Filter Press

The basic working principle of the filter press is a machine that performs the separation of products such as (sediment, sludge, residue) from the liquid.

The filtration process is carried out by sending the product to the filter press with the help of a pump. The product passes through the plates in the filter and reaches the filter cloths, while the liquid products are filtered and exit from the filter, the solid (residue) part that is not liquid gets compressed between the filter press plates and takes the form of a cake. The process is completed when the cake section between the plates is filled, and the filter press is opened. The cake sludge between the plates is cleaned by separating the plates. After the cleaning process is completed, the plates are compressed again, and the filter press machine is ready to operate again.

Types of Filter Press

Manual Filter Press: The operations of plate separation, plate compression, and plate cleaning are performed by the operator.

Semi-Automatic Filter Press: The operations of plate separation and compression are performed with the help of a control panel. The plate cleaning process is done with the help of the operator.

Fully Automatic Filter Press: The operations of plate separation, compression, and plate cleaning are performed from the control panel.
