Physical Purification Drum Screen Filter

 

They are systems that filter all kinds of visible and voluminous pollution in water. There are definitely physically undesirable substances in the wastewater of every process. There are various ways to physically remove these unwanted substances in wastewater.
 
Drum Screen is an equipment that is generally used to prevent solid particles in wastewater from entering the facility and damaging mechanical equipment. There are two types of Drum Screens, internal flow and external flow.

In the Internal Flow Drum Sieve, the waste water is given into the drum. While the effect of the spiral rotation in the drum throws the solids out from the other side, the waste water purified from its impurities descends under the drum and collects in the chamber.

On the other hand, in External Flow Drum Screen, the opposite is given to the outside of the drum. The solid material to be removed here remains on the drum surface and is thrown out of the system from the scraper combs when it comes to the lower part with the effect of the rotation. Waste water enters the drum and reaches the collection reservoir in the equipment.
